We just came back for Weekend trip to Sequoia National Park.This was my fourth time in Sequoia National park, and it was my best time in the park. Is Sequoia park in your bucket list? If yes, I highly recommend visiting the park in spring. Here are 5 reasons to visit Sequoia National Park in Spring.

5 reasons to visit Sequoia National Park in Spring

Avoid crowds. We spent two nights in Three rivers and did not have to stay in traffic on the way to the park.. There were almost no people near Sherman tree, so we took tons of pictures there.

The road to Moro Rock was closed due to snow and tree debris. We had to walk additional mile or so to the Mono Rock, but we hike Moro rock in solitude.

Kids enjoyed ranger talks in the museum that is packed in summer.

See Spring creeks , rivers and full waterfalls. As snow melts in the mountains, a lot of small creeks and waterfalls forms. We stopped several time on General highway to enjoy the scenery and take pictures of snail waterfalls.

Walk along snow corridors. Lodgepole campground turned into a huge maze.

Hike on the top of 4 feet snow pack. Majority of the trails in the park were covered by snow.
